Services and meeting points to support you from the finish at Alto del Rahue through your return to Villa Pehuenia.
Return from Rahue
Once you cross the finish line, you will descend on your bike from Alto del Rahue to Puente del Rahue, across an approximately 15 km section.
- The descent will take place in groups controlled by official motorcycles.
- Maximum speed will be 40 km/h.
- At the Meeting Point, your family or companions may wait for you with their vehicle.
- Participants without their own transportation may hire a bus service with bike transport back to Villa Pehuenia.
Bag drop
On Friday, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, you may leave an identified bag at the Expo with a warm jacket and a change of clothes.
The next day, the organization will transport your bag to Alto del Rahue and return it to you after you cross the finish line.
Your identification wristband will be required to access the bag drop and participant-only areas.
How to follow the race
Spectators accompanying riders must move with enough time in advance: traffic on the course will be interrupted 15 minutes before the first e-bikes pass.
- Puente del Rahue: Meeting Point where the final climb begins and where riders and companions will gather for the return.
- Road Maintenance Outpost: located approximately 4 km before the finish, this spot lets you experience the decisive section up close.
- Vehicle access to the upper sector will be allowed until 9:15 AM.
- Vehicle descent will be enabled from 12:30 PM, subject to the organization’s instructions.
The closing of the conquest
Fun Fest
Your finisher medal will be waiting at the finish line, but the celebration will continue in the afternoon. Riders, families and companions will meet again at Villa Pehuenia’s Tourist Pier to share stories and enjoy the Rahue Classic awards ceremony.

Accreditation and kit pickup?
It will take place on Friday, February 19, 2027. Venue to be confirmed.
What is the Fun Fest?
It will be the post-race celebration, where the awards ceremony will also take place. You will be required to have fun!
What is the weather like?
February brings mild to warm days and cool mornings, ideal for enjoying Patagonia by bike. As always in the mountains, it is best to bring a light warm layer and a windbreaker.
Average maximum temperature: 25°C (with days that may occasionally exceed 30°C). Average daily temperature: 15°C. Average minimum temperature: 7°C (temperatures may drop notably, reaching around 2°C on the coldest early mornings).
Is the official jersey mandatory?
The official jersey is NOT mandatory, but you will definitely want to wear it all day.
How do I return from the finish?
The descent to Puente del Rahue will be done by bike in controlled groups. From there, you may return with your vehicle or by previously hiring the bus transfer with bike transport. Check all details in the 360° Experience section.
Can teams be formed?
Yes. Although Rahue Classic is an individual race, Gravel and MTB riders may form teams of up to 6 members, with at least one woman, to compete in the team classification too. Please check point 3 of the regulations.
Where will the 50 km E-Bike start?
The start will be at Camping Ruca Kalkin, on Provincial Route 23, 17 km before reaching Aluminé. Start time will be 8:15 AM, with the first 2 km under controlled start.
Are there cut-off times?
Yes, for safety reasons. We recommend checking the regulations and carefully reading point 4.
Will there be aid stations?
Yes. There will be three Aid Stations with food, hydration and restrooms:
- Camping Ruca Kalkin · km 43
- Aluminé Tourism Office · km 60
- Puente del Rahue Tourism Office · km 77
Can spectators follow the race?
Yes. Spectators may follow and cheer along the course while respecting these indications:
- They may move along the route up to 30 minutes before the estimated passage of the first riders. After that, they may only move behind the sweep vehicle.
- To cheer on the Rahue climb, vehicles may go up to the Road Maintenance Outpost, located 4 km before the finish, until 9:30 AM.
- After that time, vehicles will not be allowed past the “foot of the climb” at Puente del Rahue.
- Vehicles at the Road Maintenance Outpost will not be allowed to descend until the last competitor has passed that point.
